Until we're able to secure funding and hire a director, most activity is canceled. Our goal is to make food available to everyone who needs it, through pantries, food boxes, mobile free stores, ride sharing, and more. Thank you to everyone who helped us distribute roughly a ton of food a day, every day, throughout the pandemic.

Waste Not Food Taxi's mission is to reduce food waste through collection services, education, and community resources, and to make more food available to low-income people without regard for housing, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, income, or access to other resources. We believe that access to food is a right and throwing edible food into our solid waste system is wrong. We encourage recipients to volunteer as they are able. We believe that working together accomplishes more than working alone, and building community and a sense of purpose benefits everyone.
